Many people begin to meditate in the mornings right after a retreat, a workshop
or a book on meditation. They think life will be perfect…no more upsets, no more
suffering. They’ll only be happy. And if they are not happy, they think they are
doing it wrong and they stop.
WRONG! Life still goes on, with its ups and downs, births and deaths, joys and
sorrows. But with a regular practice of mindfulness, we learn how to live life in
each moment, whatever is happening in this moment. Only then can we find joy in
